Saint Laurent Show Women's Summer 25Paris2024

A dark monumental roof is inserted into YSL’s historic courtyard at Rue de Bellechasse. Colonnades under it provide a sense of shelter and places to gather. A central aperture in the shape of an oval or ‘oculus’ - from Latin ‘eye’ – creates a focus for the space, framing the view into the open night sky. Its tall frieze and cornice are finished in gold, producing a hovering glow at the heart of the set. The floor is held in Majorelle Blue, referencing a key colour of Yves Saint Laurent’s own garden in Marrakesh.
